Green Horse Bookends

Happy Sunday!  How are you?  Things are well here in good 'ole Michigan.  This week is supposed to be awesome as far as weather is concerned!!  We are hoping to hit a few outdoor activities this week before the bitter cold hits Michigan....which is right around the corner.

Anyways....I found these cool horse book ends at a recent garage sale.  I just thought they were so cool!  I knew they would look great in green.  Here they are before.....

I gave them a few coats of green spray paint and then antiqued them in black.

What do  you think?

Have a great day and if you're reading....ThAnKs!!!

  14. How awesome! How did you "antique" them in black? Just using a paint brush for highlights/lowlights?

    1. I just rubbed black paint on and then used a wet rag and wiped some of it off...until I got the desired look.
