I LoVe cHaLkBoArDs!!

Good morning!  Looks like we will have a bit of spring weather it is supposed to be in the sixties.  Now if the rain will just hold off:)  We actually had snowflakes here in Michigan both Saturday and Sunday.  I am anxiously awaiting for spring weather....the flowers, green grass, leaves on the tree, warm park days with friends, windows open....and the list goes on and on.  On the flip side this weather has made it easier for my son with his cast.  It's easier to keep him off his bike and scooter when it's rainy and cold.  We have three more weeks until he gets it will be nice to resume all activities.  Although, he has been a trooper and has not really complained about it.  It hasn't slowed him down a bit....he still has all his energy plus some:)

I found this picture last year at a garage sale and fell in love with the frame.  It looks heavy but it is actually made out of plastic.  The portrait had water damage on what better way to upcycle it than make it into a chalkboard.  I really do LOVE chalkboards......So I left the frame as is and gave the portrait a few coats of chalkboard paint.

Much better....right?

I hope you have a great week and the sun shines for you:)
